Description:
Position Summary
This is both a strategic and operational role setting the direction for SEAU MX Marketing. In this role, you will forge a cohesive team within the Marketing function and collaborate with key channels to execute and deliver on metrics within the MX Business.
You are to ensure all facets of the MX Brand marketing team (described by the duties and responsibility outlined below) are cross functionally collaborating and executing to deliver SEAU objectives.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead, Inspire, manage, and develop your team to build and execute flawless campaigns, product & technical capabilities.
- Marketing budget responsibilities with joint responsibility for sales/revenue targets for MX business.
- Ownership of flagship launch marketing through the funnel balancing HQ and local objectives
- Coordinate all Marketing activities across the MX business unit aimed at achieving Brand, awareness, consideration and conversion metrics
- Working in collaboration with HQ, RHQ and key local Key stakeholders (such as Corporate Marketing, Direct to Consumer and Partnership teams), leverage Samsung resources to achieve MX financial goals.
- Define MX Audience strategy & drive improved targeting, performance, measurement & ROI for MX customer life cycle activities.
- Develop and foster a commercial framework for investment to ensure SEAU MX ROI is optimised.
- Highlight areas of opportunity and source of growth to improve sales volume while improving the quality of Galaxy customer base.
- Oversee and align on Brand, Experiential, Social and Digital Marketing activities within MX.
- Other duties as required and instructed by management.
- Adherence to company policy and procedure.
Skills and Qualifications
- May lead a small team of professionals with limited control over budget spending or HR management such as recruiting or dismissal and supervises mentoring and coaching for team members
- Typically implements short-term action plans rather than developing policy, process or strategy
- Enhances or Improves methods or procedures and provides coaching to team members to ensure successful outcome
- Has deep knowledge on one job area or broad knowledge on several job areas
- Typically requires at least 8 years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years
