Summary
We are looking for a “Head of N&G Radar Planning & Cables (f/m/d)” for the “N&G Radar Planning & Cables” department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.
The “N&G Radar Systems” department is responsible for the integration and testing of all HENSOLDT N&G radars.

Your Tasks

  • Technical and disciplinary management of the N&G Radar Planning & Cables department and the associated employees
  • Collaboration in the strategic orientation of the N&G Radar Planning & Cables department and its consistent implementation
  • Responsible for work preparation in the N&G Radar department
  • Preparation of personnel and resource planning, budget and investment planning and responsible for planning, control and order processing
  • Provision of all resources required for order processing, including the necessary capacity flexibility in the event of fluctuations in capacity utilization
  • Ensuring work results in terms of deadlines, costs and quality
  • Participating in the review/evaluation of planned deadlines and in internal production project reviews and assisting in the acquisition and preparation of quotations for new production orders
  • Developing and introducing new production concepts, in particular the implementation of the Radar product line concept as well as continuously identifying, planning and implementing production optimizations and process improvements

Your Profile

  • Degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, industrial engineering or comparable with several years of professional experience in production
  • Experience in leading teams as well as coordination and integration skills
  • Sound knowledge of order processing including planning and control
  • Good knowledge of assembly and testing technologies as well as very good knowledge of the business system
  • Good IT skills (SAP, control tools, Office applications)
  • High level of social and methodological competence (lean production, value stream mapping, line and flow production, Kaizen, 5S, visual management, TQM)
  • Organizational talent with strong communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, strong business judgment and strong customer orientation
  • Independent and autonomous way of working, flexibility and ability to work in a team
  • Fluent German and very good English skills
