Description:
Family and Therapy Division are strengthening their Senior Nurse Divisional Team by creating a new Head of Nursing post which provides the opportunity to influence the nursing agenda.
You will be working within a cohesive, achieving and supportive division with opportunity to develop and be part of a diverse range of services which care for children and families from birth to adulthood. These include Paediatrics, Level 3 Neonates, Community Children, Health Visiting, School Nursing, CAMH’s and Children with Learning Disabilities , Sexual Health, Specialist Nurses and Advanced Nurse Practitioners.
The post holder will actively support the Divisional Nurse and work with the Assistant Divisional Nurse to lead or support on agreed nursing development programmes and transformation.
The post holder will demonstrate and provide highly visible, transformational leadership and professional management of a designated nursing portfolio and actively support the development of leadership skills across Senior Nurses, Unit Sisters, Nurse Practitioners, and Specialist Nurses.
You will be part of the Divisional Management Team which is committed to well being of all staff and also champions the ‘Value and Behaviour Framework’.
Continuous professional development is key within the nursing strategy with opportunities to progress in line with your individual needs.
Both a strategic and operational role to ensure, leading to provide safe, effective and improvement in care for Children and Their Families.
Effective proven leadership is effective with compassionate people management.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
