Description:
Location: Hammersmith, London
Working across divisional stakeholders, the Openreach Account Director will be responsible for driving Hyperoptic’s commercial relationship with Openreach. Responsible for reviewing Hyperoptic’s use of the Openreach product portfolio and using this data to inform future purchasing, improving quality, driving efficiency, shaping the use of the Openreach product set and supporting the wider Hyperoptic/Openreach relationship. This role will also ensure we are meeting the obligations and guidelines of the products ensuring compliance to processes and be responsible for validating and ensuring billing is accurate for all products. These actions should create new opportunities to drive our strategy and support our growth.
What will you be doing?
Partner & supplier management
- Accountable for Hyperoptic partner and stakeholder management for Openreach across their products and services, improving service operations, managing escalations, taking advantage of commercial opportunities and optimising cost.
- Clarifying and articulating our partnership strategy to achieve best in class outcomes, role modelling cross-departmental and cross-divisional collaboration, being an advocate for Hyperoptic within Openreach and enabling effective Board to Board meetings.
- Coordinate Openreach touch points across Hyperoptic to ensure consistency in engagement.
- Working with the Accounts Payable and operational teams, ensure that invoices align to operational transactions and are accurate and complete.
- Develop and refine product use forecasts to help drive better delivery to business milestones for time sensitive products and ensure timely engagement with Openreach.
Account Team Engagement
- Responsible for an overall programme plan for key initiatives as required by Hyperoptic’s engagement with Openreach product enhancements (i.e. implementing the API for PIA products), and Hyperoptic’s own initiatives to drive better products.
- Being able to effectively communicate problem statements and potential changes to the product with internal stakeholders.
Represent and advocate Hyperoptic at external events with Openreach
- Office for Telecoms Adjudication meetings and industry working groups
- Internal Supplier management events
- Bilateral B2B meetings
