You must have a clear understanding of the challenges facing primary care and have innovative and creative insights into how to improve the design of primary care for the benefit of partners, employees and patients.

ABOUT US

The Colte Partnership is very much ‘At The Heart of Primary Care’, being the largest GP Partnership in North East Essex; comprised of 9 local GP practices across Colchester and Tendring. We care for approx. 98,000 patients. Our Head Office is in Feering.
We pride ourselves on working to be at the forefront of primary care in our region, and have many exciting ventures on the horizon.
Each of our branches has its own character, and family friendly ethos, which is why our patients love coming to us (and tell us so in our regular patient surveys). However, being a large partnership means we can offer so much more than a local branch can by itself – with specialist clinics, social prescribing and innovative support such as regular dementia cafes, armed forces support and even child first aid classes for parents.
We strive to look after our employees as well, with generous annual leave, flexible and family friendly working, and support during difficult times such as free counselling.

We also work as three collaborative primary care networks (PCNs) which span across Colchester and Tendring:

  • ARA - Ambrose Avenue Group Practice, Riverside Medical Centre & Ardleigh Surgery
  • RMT - Mersea Island Medical Practice, Tiptree Medical Centre & Rowhedge Medical Centre
  • WCW - Walton Medical Centre, Colne Medical Centre & Wivenhoe Medical Centre

Responsibilities:

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced primary care manager to be at the forefront of primary care service design and delivery in Essex.
As head of operations and quality you will play a key leadership role in the ongoing transformation of the organisation and realise our ambitions in the delivery and development of high quality and regulatory compliant primary care services. This role will be critical in ensuring the conditions for our future success, working with the chief executive and executive team colleagues on developing innovative, and well-planned solutions that shape our existing services and develop new opportunities for us to support each of our local practices and extend the services we offer to our patients.
An experienced professional with both operational and strategic level expertise, you will be a collaborative and inclusive leader, who will work across your functions and beyond to increase the overall performance of the organisation. You will be a rigorous, clear thinker who acts with integrity, personally promotes equality, diversity and inclusion and who understands that our patients are at the heart of everything we do.
The Colte Partnership is a GP super-partnership, formed in June 2017. It brought together 9 local GP surgeries across Colchester and Tendring, serving approx. 98,000 patients. With our combined workforce, skills and knowledge, we are in a unique position to assist our patients across the county. The pandemic has amplified the resilience, skills and motivation of people working within primary care and we are committed to creating an organisation that attracts and retains staff, as well as delivering a local, GP led service that gives people what they need, at a time and place that suits them best.
We are excited about our future, and through the fantastic commitment and dedication of everyone who works at the partnership, we will achieve our vision of being at the heart of primary care in Essex. Please see attached for further information.
