Based in Port Moresby, PNG, you will be responsible for the overall management of the bank’s domestic and international operations and vendor management.

What are my key areas of focus?

• Provide oversight of end-to-end banking operations for the PNG business.
• Responsibility for corporate services and vendor management.
• Build and maintain relationships with relevant business stakeholders in the PNG, Fiji and Australia offices, particularly with outsourced functions, to ensure efficient and effective execution of operational support.
• Proactive identification and communication, in consultation with the leadership team, of future emerging issues impacting the Westpac PNG business.
• Contribute to the strategic and operational performance of WPNG by contributing new ideas, initiatives, function wide improvements and knowledge sharing.
• Build a strong, performing team through continuous coaching and talent development initiatives.
