HEAD OF OPERATIONS | BARKING & DAGENHAM

Head of Operations vacancy at a brilliant partner Trust in Barking & Dagenham, £50,000-£60,000.
The school is actively seeking an experienced and proactive Head of Operations to oversee and implement day-to-day operations. In this role as the Head of Operations, you will provide crucial support to the Executive Head and Heads of School, collaborating closely with the Finance department.

HEAD OF OPERATIONS SUMMARY:

• Lead a culture of continuous improvement in all operational areas, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage the Facilities Team & Caretakers as their line manager.
• Provide crucial support to the Executive Head & Heads, ensuring sound financial management of school budgets.
• Maximise income from various sources, supporting capital developments while maintaining high standards.
• Spearhead innovative approaches to generate additional income through marketing, partnerships, and sponsorships.
• Contribute to executing the strategic financial plan aligned with the school’s development goals.
• Monitor costs and spending against budget, maintaining clear communication with the Executive Head.

HEAD OF OPERATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree level qualification.
• Experience as Head of Operations or similar role.
• Able to influence decision making within the school.
• Willingness to be flexible around working hours to meet the needs of the school.
• Ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people.
