Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently hiring for a Head of People Operations & Experience to join our team on a temporary basis and provide coverage during a maternity leave.
In this role, you will report to the VP People and you will manage our People Ops and Experience team in the UK and GR, oversee and partner with Sequoia who provide EOR services for our US entity, and collaborate closely with our London based Head of Talent.
You will assume responsibility for building our HR infrastructure and executing the end-to-end HR service palette, tailored to the needs of a fast-paced tech start-up.
You will be responsible for all aspects of our People Ops engine, including but not limited to HRIS management and People analytics, reward management, payroll administration, benefits administration, performance management, employee relations, immigration, HR policies and procedures, and HR controls and compliance. In addition, you will be supporting the delivery of the People Experience agenda, driving our mission to create a values led, supportive, high-performance culture.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Lead and inspire a global People Operations & Experience team to shape our strategy and ensure the delivery of an exceptional service and outstanding employee experience to our globally distributed team.
  • Own the People Operations roadmap and lead on all operational aspects of the employee lifecycle, including but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, benefits management, probation management, performance appraisals, contractor and third party management.
  • Support our People Experience Partner in shaping and executing all People Experience initiatives aimed at enhancing our company culture and creating a positive and fulfilling work environment for our employees.
  • Oversee our UK, US and GR payroll processes and associated activities in collaboration with the People Operations Associate, our Finance team and appointed third party providers.
  • Serve as the guardian of our global employment law compliance across diverse jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to regulations while also contributing to the development and enhancement of our HR policies.
  • Be accountable for all People data ensuring data integrity / data compliance and the delivery of impactful and actionable analysis and reporting.
  • Play a pivotal role in our mission to cultivate a high-performance team, providing crucial support to all people managers in elevating the performance density within their respective teams.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Lead and mentor our People Ops Associate and People Experience Partner, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
