The UK&I division people team works to supercharge its brands by attracting, nurturing and growing the forward-thinking people who power its market leading propositions. A strategic partner to the UK&I brands that truly works at the heart of the business, the people team delivers the overarching people strategy that allows local brand cultures to thrive whilst aspiring to a common, shared experience for all UK&I people wherever they are and whatever they do.
Your role will be to lead the Betfair People Partnering team to make sure we are creating the best experience for our colleagues, whilst ensuring there are strong co created people plans in place to help shape and deliver the UKI people strategy.
As well as leading the team you will also partner with stakeholders in the business ensuring that you are building the right localised people plans and driving our key people initiatives around performance management, engagement and team development.
You’ll keep people at the top of the agenda!
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Leading a team of People Partners ensuring they are led, developed and feel connected to the broader UKI People strategy as well as the relevant brand strategy.
- Partner with the business to develop and implement local people strategies.
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders to support them and their teams through coaching, org design advice and team development.
- Work with the talent team to drive key talent, succession & L&D initiatives ensuring any solutions are localised based on the needs of the business area.
- Employee engagement – working proactively and using available Peakon data to drive local engagement plans and enhance the employee experience.
- Partner closely with the people COEs which including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Leadership and Reward.
