Description:
Are you a seasoned professional in high-rise developments looking for your next career milestone? Our client is looking for a talented Head of Pre-Delivery to lead project coordination and stakeholder management across all phases of development, focusing primarily on pre-delivery stages.
This Head of Pre-Delivery role in construction and development suits a Senior Design Manager seeking advancement or a Development Director with an Architecture degree.

As the Head of Pre-Delivery, you will play a pivotal role in high-rise development projects, overseeing Design and Development Management functions from concept to completion. Your responsibilities will include:
Strategic Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with planners, council members, service consultants, and internal teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
Project Coordination and Administration: Oversee crucial aspects such as meetings, feasibility studies, stakeholder relations, reporting, and budget management.
Technical Expertise: Uphold rigorous design standards throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concepts to final approvals and marketing strategies.
Documentation and Compliance: Support the preparation of detailed project briefs, facilitate Development Application submissions, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Leadership and Support: Provide guidance to the development and construction teams on design implementation, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Architecture
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in managing medium to large-scale residential and mixed-use projects
- Strong proficiency in Planning, Construction, and Project Management
- Demonstrated track record in design and documentation within a fast-paced environment
- In-depth knowledge of planning guidelines, building codes, and compliance regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Current Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Additional qualifications in Property Economics, Development, Commerce, Construction or related disciplines
- Experience with new business acquisition and managing multiple projects concurrently
- Proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and negotiate effectively
