    Reporting to the General Manager, Consumer Banking & Wealth (CBW&W) we have a rare opportunity for an accomplished leader to join our Private Bank whānau. You will be fully accountable for the performance of Private Banking, Wealth Management and Our Bank within Consumer Bank. These teams service the needs of high-net-worth individuals, provide wealth management expertise to a wide range of customers, and ensure the banking needs of our own employees are well supported.

  • Expert knowledge of the financial services industry, preferably in a customer facing banking environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading high performing teams in large complex organisations, with a minimum of 10 years leadership experience.
  • Results focused with a strong track record of consistent performance across a range of metrics.
  • People oriented leader that deeply understands the drivers of employee engagement.
  • Confidence and experience engaging with senior stakeholders e.g., Executive/Board
  • Solid understanding and experience managing risk and engaging with risk business partners.
  • Strategic mindset and ability to effectively use data to drive decision making.
  • Well-developed networks and confidence to extend these networks both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated success leading cultural transformation and driving major change initiatives.
