Essential Skills:

  • You have a minimum bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Engineering or equivalent education and have +5 years of experience of procurement management.
  • Expertise and extensive experience in evaluating and determine commercial terms, risks and other contract terms.
  • Strong leadership skills that enable you to oversee and lead the entire procurement lifecycle.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify cost-savings opportunities, processes, and areas to optimise.
  • You have the skills to present in a straightforward way, with clear recommendations to stakeholders and including management.

Nice to have skills:

  • Experience from an international environment, the iGaming industry or other tech related industries.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Head of Procurement that wants to be a part of our journey and drive significant business value. By identifying, determine and managing the procurement process including a cost-effective procurement strategy you will contribute to our growth and ensure that LeoVegas Group will have the best resources to become successful.
This is a new role, so it will be an exciting opportunity to create and shape something from start. We are working in a global and fast-moving environment, where entrepreneurship and innovation are present every day. Since we will continue to grow and expand into new markets and areas this is a fantastic opportunity to grow with the company.
You will report directly to the Group Finance Director and work closely with Head of Business Control, the Legal department, and other commercial stakeholders. We are a global team with fantastic colleagues located at our different offices in Malta, Sweden, UK, Italy, the Netherlands, and the US. You will have the opportunity to be placed at the Stockholm office, Sweden or at the office in Sliema, Malta. We expect you to travel to our different locations on a regular basis.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Identifying, determine and managing the procurement process and ensure that we have a cost-effective procurement strategy in place.
  • Developing and implementing the procurement strategy and policies deemed necessary.
  • Oversee the procurement lifecycle to get the most out of Group’s purchasing power, realize cost savings while meeting business needs, streamline operations and optimize processes.
  • Managing supplier and vendor relationships together with main stakeholders and work closely with the Finance and Legal team to ensure proper risk assessment on potential contracts.
  • You are expected to provide excellent management skills and negotiation skills to identify and source the best products and services of the highest quality at the lowest cost.
  • Support in drafting and managing vendor contracts to maximize financial and operational performance and mitigate risks.
  • Together with key stakeholders, we expect you to create value and drive business profitability through strategic analysis and support.
