As a key player in the Homevolt Leadership Team, you’ll be at the forefront of driving change and innovation. Reporting directly to the Homevolt CEO, you will collaborate closely with the visionary minds at Polarium and Tibber to shape objectives and long-term plans.

JOB MISSION

We are now looking for a passionate and hands-on Head of Product & Engineering to help us on our continued journey and growth and further develop our products. Within this area, we are focused on developing world-class products that put our users first and propel our society toward a more sustainable and smart energy future by utilizing one of the world’s smartest batteries.
As a Head of Product & Engineering at Homevolt, you will inspire, be the Manager of, and apply leadership and direction of the product and to the engineers across the team where you get to apply top-notch technical practices and agile delivery. As leading both the product and engineering, you will have the responsibility from defining the strategy of the product until implementation.
As a part of the product management, you will, based on customer and market needs and the ambition of Homevolt, define the vision and strategy for the product and prioritize features in the backlog. This is done in collaboration with other roles and teams in Homevolt and stakeholder management is a key part of the role. In the beginning, you are the product manager cooperating with others.
We will start to build the engineering team. 2 Engineers will be recruited after we hire this person as a start. This team is currently planned to be around 3 to 5 Engineer’s ranging from Senior to Staff levels, but the future will tell the needs.
You will drive the development work through the organization. You will lead the development team/engineers. In the beginning, there is a Consultant you will take over from.
Continue to develop products and services here at Homevolt, leading from the front cooperating with Polarium and Tibber, and coordinating with third-party vendors eg. the App Developers.
A product roadmap will be required and will be designed in cooperation with other stakeholders in Homevolt.
Build from the ground up a healthy, transparent, and open engineering culture that’s inclusive and fun to work in. Recruiting a dream team is a key part of the role.
