Description:

Overview:
Reporting directly to the MD Operations this is a new and senior role in our expanding and exciting business sector. The successful candidate will help us to shape and evolve the role to drive production efficiency and structure into our new and modern fleet of ERFs.

The Production Manager will provide senior leadership, guide, empower and collaborate with operating teams to ensure the optimum performance of our each ERFs. He/She will aggressively drive a high-performance culture by endorsing our O&M metrics and performance KPIs whilst ensuring the correct production outputs, structure and talent are in place at each site. Ultimately, sustaining and improving our high quality results to date. This includes;

  • Assessing and implementing all Production KPIs, uniformly across each ERF.
  • Leading and coordinating plant technical performance improvements.
  • Manage up to 3-6 direct reports, specifically our Performance/Warranty Managers at each site. Improving our approach to warranty management, enhancements and continual improvement initiatives.
  • Gathering and analysing production data for monthly review meetings and reporting.
  • Supporting the developing of our Digital Platform and the integration across sites.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Safety, Health and Environmental Excellence:
  • Work with the Compliance, Health and Safety manager and Plant teams to maintain and improve operational safety
  • Demonstrate visible leadership across sites and engage in periodic safety audits.
  • Performance improvement:
  • Identify, quantify, obtain buy-in and support the implementation of technical performance improvement of the operational plants
  • Monitor and take action on Key performance Indicators that make a difference to performance and or our regulatory requirements
  • Share technical learning between sites
  • Serve as a champion for the Continuous Improvement / Lean Six Sigma program. Be a change leader for the O&M
  • Production and KPI development:
  • As a new company we still need to develop and refine KPIs that make a difference to the bottom line.
  • The Head of Production will set up a system for monitoring all downtime. Establishing a procedure and standard of RCA to follow up on a loss of production so that learnings can be applied across the fleet.
  • This role will lead the development of the right KPIs using our industry leading performance software
  • Warranty management:
  • The Warranty period is critical for the early year performance and costs of each ERF.
  • The role will be responsible for overseeing that the ensuring all warranty obligations are delivered whilst maintaining a constructive and cooperative relationship with Stakeholders.
  • The role holder will share warranty period learning and knowledge across our new sites and coordinate with suppliers and internal departments, ensuring compliance with all HSE requirements.
  • Other Aspects:
  • The Production Manager will work closely with the MD Operations on strategy and progressive development of the growing ERF fleet.
  • Travel is required to support and direct the day to day operations.
  • Working with their peers the Performance Manager will be an ambassador for Encylcis the O&M department and will always conduct himself/herself in a professional manner.
  • The Production Manager may be asked to deputise for the MD operations occasionally.

Qualifications:
This individual must have 10+ years of progressive experience in ERF operations management with at least 10 years supervisory experience in a leadership role, as well as experience leading operations and maintenance execution.

Specifically, the successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in influencing at a senior level.
  • Demonstrated strong business acumen with an understanding of the financial implications of technical solution options.
  • Strong customer internal orientation with comfort in a matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrate dedication to process safety, worker safety and environmental stewardship.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • A track record of ensuring all operations projects are subject to rigorous planning and oversight to ensure on time and on-budget completion that meets or exceeds quality and safety standards.
  • Ability to challenge status quo, identify key areas for improvement and implement actions to address.
  • Drive cultural change, accountability, and continuous improvement mindset throughout the organization.
  • Strong customer internal orientation with comfort in a matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrate dedication to process safety, worker safety and environmental stewardship.
  • A strong track record in managing large and remote operating teams including: ability to energize and develop all levels of the organization.
