Description:
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Extensive experience in Project Management and managing major design, concept, manufacture and production programmes
- APM PMQ or equivalent qualification essential
- Relevant Degree desirable
- Extensive experience in managing senior stakeholders within the UK defence environment
- Extensive experience in delivering major Government or Defence programmes
- Extensive experience of leading cross-functional teams
- Extensive experience of making decisions to manage and mitigate project risk
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and presentational
- Excellent Attention to detail
- Extensive understanding of the challenges of complex engineering projects or defence programmes
- Strong commitment, self-motivation and the ability to motivate other people and teams
- Ability to coach / mentor and develop staff
- Customer focused and experienced at dealing with customers and other stakeholders nationally and internationally.
