ABOUT THE POSITION
Staria, rewarded as the leading NetSuite partner in the Nordics is now looking for a Head of Project Management Office (PMO) who will play a crucial role in overseeing both project- and people management aspects within our organization. This means you will ensure the performance of all activities to achieve project overall goals within time, budget, and agreed project scope, as well as making sure we have the most competent project managers operating and running the projects.
This position is a unique combination of strategic leadership, project oversight, and people management, all to ensure the success of our projects and the professional growth of our project management team. In this position, you will:
- People Management: Mentor and manage a team of project managers, providing guidance on project management best practices and fostering their professional development.
- Project Sponsorship: Aligning the project with business goals, strategy, and objectives. Serving as the primary point of escalation and ensuring the project’s overall success.
- Project management: Lead ERP implementation projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. Measure project KPIs such as profitability and completion rates, and negotiate change requests to the scope of work where applicable.
- Process Improvement: Participate in standardization and process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the consulting team, to support the high growth ambitions of Staria.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
To succeed in this position, you should have extensive experience in project management, preferably within ERP implementation, demonstrating proficiency in leading complex projects successfully. Additionally, you have a strong background in people management, with proven leadership experience that fosters team growth and development.
Proficiency in project management tools like for example Microsoft Project, Jira, and Trello is expected, along with a deep understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, waterfall, and Lean. Recognized project management certifications like PRINCE2, Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Project Manager (CPM), or others, are highly valued.
Skills are important and personality is key, for this position, we are looking for a person who brings a sense of calmness and seniority to the team. Excellent communication skills are essential, as well as having the ability to articulate ideas clearly and confidently. Proficiency in conflict handling, ensuring smooth collaboration, and problem-solving with relevant stakeholders is crucial in this position.
