Are you passionate about agile project management and want to join one of the largest tech companies in the Nordics? We are looking for a one-year assignment as Head of Project Management that will be part of Tietoevry Banking and the Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) business unit in Tietoevry.
FCP delivers a holistic set of services covering Identity, Fraud Prevention and Anti Money Laundering (AML) to prevent criminal activity in the financial industry and enable customers to comply with regulations, standards and internal risk assessments. The unit consists of 150 employees based mainly in Norway and Sweden and is looking to expand to other European countries.
As the Head of Project Management, you will be responsible for leading and managing our project management team at Financial Crime Prevention unit. You will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects by defining and implementing project management best practices and methodologies specific to the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership to the project management team, ensuring effective project planning, execution, monitoring, and control.
• Define and implement project management processes, tools, and methodologies tailored for the banking industry to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead the team in developing and maintaining project management documentation, including project charters, project plans, and progress reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, development, and quality assurance, to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Conduct regular project reviews and identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Mentor and coach project managers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in project management within the banking sector and apply them to continuously improve our project delivery capabilities.

Your profile:

• Previous line manager experience, preferably from tech company with accumulated leadership skills such as recruitment, team development, working environment.
• Hands-on experience with project management from IT-development/software-implementation.
• You are solution oriented, self-driven and take on structured approach.
• Experience and/or a strong vision how a project management unit should be run.
• Excellent communication skills in “Scandinavian” and English, both orally and in writing.
