Flow Recruitment is pleased to be supporting the growth of a Melbourne-based data intelligence and strategy company. Their clients include sport governing bodies, elite teams, sporting brands and all levels of Government. They run business operations in Australia and the USA.
Their consulting, data intelligence and planning tools empower their clients to make informed decisions and develop better strategy, investments, and execution. They tackle societal issues surrounding physical activity, sports and recreation, delivering roadmaps to better engage communities.
This is an exciting, newly created role to lead the Research & Data Intelligence practice. The team consists of a Data Analyst, Engineer, Scientist and two Interns, and is ultimately responsible for the smooth running, design and execution of research programs (brief to insight). Identifying and driving data led initiatives and product innovation will also be part of the remit.

To be considered for this role, we are looking for someone with:

• A strong track record of designing and delivering research programs (quantitative & qualitative research methodologies)
• An ability to communicate a story & translate into a meaningful business outcome
• Team leadership experience – manage the workflow of the team + inspire, grow & develop
• A bigger picture lens – can quickly assess the current ‘Vs’ future state, and bring people on the journey
• A passion for the craft – naturally energized by the activity – want to deliver value
• A progressive mindset – combining research skills and critical thinking with commercial acumen and a customer focus
• A keen interest in Technology and the Sports & Wellness sectors
