POSITION OVERVIEW
As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing EdgeTier’s sales strategy, building and leading a high-performing sales team, and driving our revenue growth. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), you will work closely with other C-suite stakeholders to align sales initiatives with company objectives, identify new market opportunities, and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales leadership within the SaaS industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve company revenue goals and market expansion.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of success and continuous improvement.
- Identify and target new market opportunities, including potential verticals and customer segments.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales collateral, campaigns, and lead-generation strategies.
- Monitor and analyse sales metrics to measure performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure targets are met.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the CCO and other C-suite executives.
- Develop and manage the sales budget, optimising resources and implementing cost-control measures for maximum ROI.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategies.
- Represent EdgeTier at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
