THE SKILLS YOU’LL HAVE
- Demonstrated experience in building strategies and executing growth of sellers in a marketplace platform environment.
- Background in e-commerce, marketplace platforms, or related industries. Understanding of seller ecosystems, competitive landscapes, and market trends.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams, coaching and enabling high performance.
- Experience working to sales targets.
- Experience within specified business unit is preferable.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with leaders, negotiating terms, and coordinating actions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and execute long-term growth strategies aligned with business goals.
- Comfort with analysing data, identifying patterns, and making informed decisions.
Responsibilities:
What does a normal day in the life of a Head of Seller Success look like? Well, no 2 days are alike at Catch, but you could probably expect your day to include some of the following things:
- Fostering robust relationships with key accounts to elevate the Gross Transaction Value (GTV).
- Strategically overseeing commission structures to align with and advance the marketplace’s goals.
- Executing promotional subsidies to encourage seller participation in deals and promotions, thereby driving sales.
- Collaborating with sellers to broaden product variety and improve catalogue quality.
- Enhancing seller activity with retail media to bolster their market visibility and revenue.
- Enhancing seller engagement by assessing their involvement in platform activities, ensuring timely customer interactions, consistent product listing updates, and active participation in educational initiatives.
- Continuously measuring and enhancing seller satisfaction through regular surveys and feedback analysis to deliver an exceptional selling experience.
- Managing the onboarding process for new sellers to guarantee a smooth and rapid integration into the marketplace.
- Determining seller advocacy by evaluating the Net Promoter Score (NPS), reflecting the likelihood of sellers endorsing the platform.
- Supporting seller progression across various performance tiers, acknowledging and incentivizing outstanding achievements.
- Employing predictive analytics to anticipate seller turnover and devising retention plans for accounts at risk.
- Analysing seller productivity by reviewing account and listing management practices to maximize performance efficiency.
- Proactively lead, direct and build an engaged, dynamic, accountable, performance driven team whilst driving and executing Catch values
