ABOUT THE ROLE:

Are you ready to take your career to new heights? Compare the Market is on the lookout for a dynamic Head of SEO to join our passionate Marketing team in the Meerkat Studios! In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in leading the evolution of Search Marketing at Compare the Market. This is a unique opportunity to blend strategic vision with hands-on operational execution, ensuring that our SEO efforts drive our business forward.
You will be the primary advocate for our SEO endeavours, setting the direction and annual programme of work to achieve our ambitious goal of ranking Top 3 for each commercial keyword. Your responsibilities will encompass both on-site and off-site optimisation, guiding a team of SEO analysts and in-house website content writers to deliver the most relevant content and drive daily lead volumes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Develop and implement an SEO program of work to achieve long-term ranking success.
  • Commission and operationalise annual audits and ad-hoc insights from external SEO experts.
  • Create an annual Programme of Work for each vertical within CTM, aligning strategy with fiscal year commercial targets to maximise visibility, traffic, and lead volumes.
  • Set SEO performance goals and establish a measurement framework.
  • Deliver detailed reports to the Senior Execution Team, CTM Board, and A&G Risk stakeholders.
  • Manage the SEO content writing team and external agency partners to ensure the relevance and effectiveness of website content.
  • Collaborate with the PPC team to share learnings, tests, and best practices to minimise cannibalisation.
  • Work closely with the IT team to ensure technical SEO optimisation.
  • Proactively monitor and manage SEO performance against key competitors.
  • Provide thought leadership on the future of search, identifying new opportunities for CTM to excel in Search Marketing.
