My client is an award-winning PR agency known for its innovative and strategic approach to PR. With a focus on creating impactful campaigns that resonate with target audiences, they pride themselves on delivering measurable results for clients across various industries. As they continue to expand their digital footprint, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Social and Influencer to lead social media and influencer marketing efforts.
Job Description:
The Head of Social and Influencer will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media and influencer marketing strategies that align with clients objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development and Social Media Management::

  • Develop and implement social media and influencer marketing strategies in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
  • Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to inform strategy development.
  • Oversee the management of all social media accounts for clients, including content creation, publishing, and community management.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, opportunities, and potential issues, and develop appropriate responses.

Influencer Marketing:

  • Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers and content creators to amplify brand messaging.
  • Negotiate and manage influencer partnerships, ensuring deliverables are met and objectives are achieved.

Content Creation:

  • Work closely with creative teams to develop compelling and engaging content tailored to each social media platform and target audience.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure brand consistency and alignment with overall marketing strategies.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze key metrics to measure the success of social media and influencer marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare regular reports and insights for clients, highlighting achievements, areas for improvement, and future recommendations.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of social media and influencer marketing specialists, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including PR, creative, and account management, to ensure integrated campaign execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (6 years) in social media management and influencer marketing, preferably within an agency setting.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and influencers.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in social media analytics tools and platforms.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends and exploring innovative approaches.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals and exceed expectations.
