Altitude Executive Search is looking for a Head of Sourcing for our Client who is a leading global player in their own business. The business is focused on heavy machinery products that are developed, manufactured and sold to international markets. The company has a solid growth strategy and strong financial status. You will report to the COO and be part of the Supply Operation’s management team.

• You are responsible for further development of the sourcing function, related strategies, metrics and actions. With your team you will broaden the international supplier base, and in close cooperation with your R&D and Manufacturing colleagues, you will contribute to building efficient and lean material flows, and above all, to ensuring more competitive products what comes to quality, cost-base and sustainability. The focus is on direct sourcing and supplier base management.
• You will lead a team of 8-11 sourcing and procurement professionals.
• You are a leader character with a business mindset of driving continuous improvement. You know how to build and manage a modern sourcing function with a systematic supplier base management and development.
• You have earlier team-lead experience, and hands-on experience in finding, qualifying, contracting and ramping-up new international suppliers.
• You have a relevant M.Sc./B.Sc. education and full fluency in English language.
