Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

As the Head of Sustainability, you will play a key role in leading and driving our sustainability initiatives across the organisation. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive sustainable practices throughout our operations, to promote social responsibility and to enhance our environmental performance.
This role will report directly to the Managing Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the Leadership Team to further evolve, develop, implement projects to deliver new/improved operational and strategic initiatives to meet corporate ESG expectations and reporting requirements.
  • To play a lead role in both setting future strategic ESG objectives and targets, and in ensuring the company meets these ESG objectives on an ongoing basis.
  • Interpret and critically analyse and assess evolving ESG regulations and frameworks and provide technical expertise and guidance on key issues related to environmental and social performance, sustainability, and corporate governance, to support meeting the expectations of our clients, board and accreditation bodies.
  • Develop and implement governance strategies to ensure the timely and accurate compliance with relevant ESG requirements.
  • Engage with Head Office, Project Teams and Suppliers and devise and deliver relevant sustainability training to ensure sustainability is imbedded across the company and with our supply chain partners.
  • Manage inputs to the Company’s ESG reporting preparatory work including materiality assessments, peer benchmarking, stakeholder engagement, gap analysis, and metrics/KPI identification.
  • Manage the data collection and analysis of all information required from all sites and report on key ESG metrics.
  • Travel to sites as required to support with the implementation of ESG initiatives.
  • Analyse ESG reporting data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and actionable insights for improvement.
