The Client:
A renowned e-commerce platform that has redefined online shopping, offering a diverse range of products to customers worldwide. They feature everything from electronics and fashion to beauty products and gourmet treats.

The Role:

• Reporting into CEO, this is a Head of IT / Technology opportunity overseeing the IT department of up to 15 staff
• Formulate the Company’s digital and technology strategy, vision, and roadmap to bolster go-to-market initiatives and specific accountabilities in areas like eCommerce, mobile app, data management, and corporate functions.
• Stay abreast of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product development and management.
• Champion the adoption of new technologies and methodologies internally.
• Lead the development and execution of an omni-channel eCommerce platform central to the Company’s operations.
• Continuously enhance the eCommerce platform to maintain industry leadership.
• Oversee the development and execution of information security and disaster recovery plans.
• Implement tools and web changes to support Internet marketing and SEO.
• Establish a web analytics regime to measure performance against goals.
• Manage teams supporting product development, web operations, and data management.
