Responsibilities:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Director for our Wires Operations, which is an enterprise shared services function responsible for Wires processing for all Lines of Business. The director will be the primary owner of all wires operations functions including Exception & Repair Processing, Customer Set Ups, Client Support Unit, and supporting teams related to the functions.
The core duties of this role are:
- Operational Management: manage health of operational functions, including talent management, operational risk management, anticipate and address control issues, ownership of remediation plans and responsibility decisions to balance risk, cost, and client experience as applicable to multiple issues in the operational day-to-day management.
- Risk & Control Agenda: Maintain and improve controls agenda for wires, which is a complex function with high inherent operational risk. Drive successful outcomes in enterprise controls programs, audits, and regulatory exams. Wire is also a critical function as part of resiliency framework and requires leadership on developing/improving resilience plans and playbooks
- Issue Management: Lead resolution of issues and business disruption providing expertise and driving teams towards operational solution
- Change Management: Provides expertise to multiple projects, technology change and transformation agenda. Support development of requirements, test strategy and execution, post implementation stability and problem solving
- Governance & Stakeholders Client Management: Engage with senior leaders across the enterprise to provide visibility of the function, drive E2E risk management in relevant senior forums, including LoB committees, Technology governance, Risk & Control committees, and Operations senior management
