POSITION INFORMATION

Wyndham College is located in Nirimba Fields on the Nirimba Education Precinct, Northwest Sydney. It is a comprehensive senior high school and currently draws students from the three 7-12 partner schools within the Nirimba Collegiate (Quakers Hill, Riverstone High and Seven Hills High Schools). The College has a reputation for providing high-quality education and attracts many students from non-government schools.
Wyndham College provides a range of educational options for stage 6 students offering a broad senior curriculum, supported by extensive student well-being and support programs. In the Nirimba Education Precinct, Wyndham College partners with: Western Sydney University-The College Nirimba Campus, Western Sydney Institute of TAFE (Nirimba College) and the Catholic Education Office Parramatta Diocese (St John Paul II Catholic College). The school owns and operates a hospitality trade school called Tradewynds.
Wyndham College enjoys the support of its diverse community and has fostered strong partnerships with parents/carers, universities, TAFE, other tertiary and Vocational Education institutions, businesses and community groups.
The student population of 480 has been fluctuating over the last five years. Wyndham College has an Inclusive Education Unit consisting of two classes, and a diverse school community. The College welcomes and supports students from a range of cultures and religions with 4% accessing EAL/D (English an additional language or dialect) support and 4% of students identifying as having an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background.
The school focuses on using evidence to inform, establish and maintain strong links with our students, parents/caregivers, and education partners. Wyndham College works to ensure meaningful student engagement in learning and attainment by supporting students to be independent and confident learners equipped to achieve in their chosen pathway.
