Description:

Onnec Sweden is looking for an ambitious Health and Safety coordinator to join its Nordic operation.
This position will coordinate, support, and advise the Business on all aspects with regards to Health and Safety. To establish, manage and monitor standards, processes, communications, training and systems to ensure all responsibilities associated with Health and Safety are adhered to.
The role requires travel to client sites including construction, data centres and office to carry out inspections and audits, along with providing HSEQ support to site and management teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated, and communicated.
  • Ensure the company meets legislative requirements in all areas pertaining to health, safety, and welfare at work, including required training and reporting.
  • Promote safety controls and processes throughout the region.
  • Conduct regular project safety inspections and track non-conformities to closure.
  • Ensure that all accidents are fully investigated, root causes identified, corrective actions implemented and reported across the business.
  • Ensure full and accurate health and safety and training records are maintained.
  • Review and update company Health & Safety policies, systems of work, and procedures to ensure local compliance.
  • Maintain a presence on customer sites, support and advise management teams on all relevant compliance matters and requirements.
  • Oversee the implementation of a structured program of health & safety training throughout the region.
  • Keep up to date with all aspects of relevant health, safety & welfare at work legislation, and communicate relevant changes to the business.
  • Provide regular reports to the Senior Management Team on relevant health and safety activities.
  • Participate in meetings when required to report on relevant health & safety matters. Communicate with suppliers i.e. Insurers, etc.
  • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.
