QUALIFICIATON



    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Chemical).

    • NEBOSH (General Certificate) qualified or working towards NEBOSH certificate accreditation.
    • With working knowledge in OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 9001:2015
    • Possess a valid UAE Driver’s License.

      • Identifies hazards and potential risks and assist operations staff with eliminating or mitigating those hazards.
      • Advises jobsite managers on HSE-related matters.
      • Ability to conduct investigations of worksite accidents, injuries, prepares reports and assists with employee medical needs as required.
      • Ability to effectively communicate HSE requirements and values to all levels of employees and client representatives.

      EXPERIENCE



        • Minimum four (4) years HSE experience in a large organization particularly in a construction or facilities management industry.

        • Experienced in Implementation & Knowledge in Safety Management System.
        • Experienced in handling File Management compliance in line with audit requirements.

        Responsibilities:

        JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE

        The incumbent will be responsible for implementing and monitoring site-specific health and safety and environmental operations and tasks at the assigned job site. Will coordinate, support, and advise Business on all aspects concerning Health and Safety. Establish, manage, and monitor standards, processes, communications, training, and systems to ensure all responsibilities associated with Health and Safety within Duserve and its stakeholders and clients are adhered to.

        ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES



          • Prepare and update HSE statistical tracking and trending data.

          • Remain abreast of all relevant HSE laws, codes of practice and standards for the area.
          • Assist Project HSE Manager with client’s HSE requirements and assists in compliance.
          • Assists to implement and maintain certification of ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001.
          • Assist to develop HSE Plans that comply with Company policies and procedures as well as local client requirements.
          • Provide Project HSE Manager with feedback on HSE performance.
          • Provides training and mentoring in HSE related topics.
          • Assist with the development and implementation of appropriate location emergency response systems.
          • Provide relevant information for monthly HSE reports.
          • Supervises the administrator and record keeper on area specific HSE audits, inspections, reports, Certifications, permits, etc.
          • Attends pre-job, planning and other client meetings as required.
          • Conducts HSE audits and inspections.
          • Conducts HSE presentations and training to employees as required.
          • Assist work site personnel, line management in development of work site HSE, Cause No Harm promotions, and campaigns.
          • Promote a positive Company image during the course and scope of the performance of these duties.
