Responsibilities:

  • Provide care to residents ensuring their independence is promoted and that residents’ dignity is maintained at all times. This will involve following your clients care plan - assistance with personal care and mobility.
  • Excellent observational skills are very important.
  • Developing and maintaining good relationships with residents and their families.
  • Adhering to confidentiality policy at all times.
  • Ensuring resident safety through a high level of observation skills, accurate recording & reporting.
  • Deliver high quality care and assistance to our residents as per their Care Plan - personal care, toileting, moving & transferring.
  • Observe, listen and engage with residents.
  • Be punctual and manage time effectively.
  • Communicate any changes or concerns in relation to resident needs/care.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety and Infection Prevention and Control regulations.
