Description:

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Health Care Support workers, for full time posts to work within Dan y Bont providing specialist care for people with learning disabilities, we are part of Swansea Bay University Health Board’s Mental Health and Learning Disability Delivery Unit.
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a seven-day service, which includes weekend, nights and bank holidays.
Dan y Bont offers a dynamic and challenging work environment, supporting adults with Learning Disabilities who present with behaviours which can challenge. We aim to provide a high quality, person centred approach based on the Positive Behaviour Support model.

The post holder will work closely with qualified nursing staff to contribute to the care and development of those accessing continuing healthcare ensuring a holistic delivery of care and services which are coherent and consistently applied.
