Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Health Care Support Worker to join our team at Taith Newydd Low Secure Mental Health Unit in Glanrhyd Hospital.
The successful candidate will be working with males from the age of 18 upwards, encouraging and supporting them as required with daily living skills and activities both on the ward and in the community in order to help them on their road to recovery.
Working under the direction of the Nurse In Charge
Adhering to policies and procedures and all aspects of security in the unit
Encouraging and supporting patients with day to day activities both on the ward and in the community
Building and maintaining therapeutic relationships with patients
Assisting with daily challenges on the unit
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

interventions utilising both digital and paper based records as directed by
the Nurse in charge
Report to the nurse in charge any untoward incidents/complaints as
soon possible
