The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Health Information Specialist to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

• Actively support and participate in the implementation of governance, business and compliance improvements
• Monitor and reconcile information within patient records and other sources to ensure compliance with relevant standards, policies and statutory requirements
• Provide advice to internal stakeholders to ensure procedures, policy and publications align with information management domains
• Research, develop, implement and evaluate best practice clinical forms design to ensure the optimum design of clinical forms
• Undertake activities in relation to the collection and submission of Queensland Hospital Admitted Patient Data Collection
