- You will have completed PGY2
- You will have experience in a number of hospital departments.
- Knowledge and commitment of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how the principles can be applied to health.
- A willingness to grow and further develop an equity lens and skillset, both to assist Māori and minority groups.
- Priority will be given to candidates who have experience of the local hospital systems and, through their experience, have good relationships with local hospital clinicians.
- You must be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You can check your eligibility by visiting the Council - s website at www.mcnz.org.nz

Responsibilities:
HealthPathways is an on-line clinical guidance platform for Canterbury Health System clinicians. It is a collaboration between the Canterbury District and Streamliners (a technical writing organisation).
HealthPathways is an integral part of the Canterbury Health System - s way of doing things. The Canterbury HealthPathways team is a combination of permanent and contracted staff who hold roles as Coordinators, Clinical Editors (Doctors, Nurses, and Allied Health Professionals), Subject Matter Experts and work with Streamliners who provide the Technical Writing resource.
0.5 FTE and 1.0 FTE positions are available in Health Pathways, you will be working primarily for Hospital HealthPathways as a clinical editor (writing pathways with appropriate support and expert input). This role does not provide clinical/patient contact.
