Silver Fern Farms Waitōtara have an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about leading health and safety practice at our site.
This is a permanent position based at one of 14 Silver Fern Farms meat processing sites. Preferably you will have primary industry or food processing experience, or have transferable experience from a hands-on role that means you will be comfortable in our factory environment.
As an experienced Advisor, you will lead all facets of Health & Safety processes, including incident learning opportunities, risk assessments, administration of Health & Safety systems, overseeing H&S Reps, injury management oversight, education and reporting to site management.
You will be the main connection between corporate health and safety and the site. You’ll need to have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships to drive change.
This role is critical in in ensuring the site’s health & safety procedures are compliant with current health and safety legislation whilst providing guidance in the area of health and wellbeing for the people at Silver Fern Farms Waitōtara.
