TE TŪRANGA | ABOUT THE ROLE

The Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Business Partner role, at Tauranga City Council, plays a crucial part in fostering a culture of safety and wellbeing across our organisation. In this role, you’ll provide expert guidance and support to ensure health, safety, and wellbeing practices are seamlessly integrated into our work processes. You’ll empower our leaders and managers to ensure our people remain healthy and safe, every day.

This role includes:

• Providing trusted and best practice advice to TCC Business Units.
• Continually enhancing our Health and Safety framework to meet the evolving needs of the organisation.
• Establishing strong foundations within TCC Business Units to effectively identify and mitigate risks.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring;

• A tertiary qualification in occupational health and safety, or a related field at NZQA Level 5 or higher.
• Be a generalist health and safety professional with proven experience in a business partnering or similar role.
• Experience with ISO 45001 would be an additional advantage
