Description:
HEALTH AND SAFETY COORDINATOR
We are seeking to fill a few QHSE (Quality Health, Safety and Environment) On-Site Coordinator positions for plant turnaround projects this Spring and Fall season.
Job Description
This project-based role is dedicated to:
- providing support to operations in the monitoring and controlling of QHSE objectives
- ensuring industrial project operations are in compliance with company, regulatory and customer health and safety requirements
- conducting hazard assessments; assisting in incident investigations; conducting/participating in safety meetings; collecting/tracking proactive efforts; inspections/audits;
- ensuring that field operations receive support
Qualifications
- Previous experience within quality, health, safety and environment positions
- NCSO or equivalent is an asset
- Class 5 Driver’s License (clean abstract, no GDL)
- Tickets: H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, CSO, CSTS
- Computer skills
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
- Successful completion of our 3-Day Selection Training Program including a Defensive Driving Evaluation Drive, Physical Demands Test and Drug and Alcohol Test (that we provide)
- Strong mentoring and coaching abilities
- Great attitude and a desire to work
- Motivated to work safely
