As our new, office-based, Process & HS Engineer you independently apply engineering theories and principles, and work on complex projects. You will be reporting to the Maintenance and Engineering Manager.
Additionally, you will be able to sharpen your professional skills by acting as the prevention advisor for our plant in Heverlee, reporting to the Operations Plant Manager.
We are looking to welcome a new Process & HS Engineer colleague, onsite, in our team.

• Create justifications for and execute CapEx for new capital equipment and process equipment upgrades
• Troubleshoot complex manufacturing process performance problems, review near misses, follow up on corrective and preventative measures and implement/maintain robust process controls, aligned with industry best practices and Corporate Health & Safety Policies
• Strive for preventive improvement actions and provide technical guidance to less experienced team members
• Support the work of the EHS Committee and contribute to constructive cooperation
• Develop maintenance procedures for equipment and ensure preventive maintenance is executed per defined schedules. (set up and maintain AMMS).
• Implement and improve OEE metrics and results
• Develop validation requirements for special processes, and assist with execution of qualification protocols
• Monitor process quality metrics and investigates yield issues
