RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS

Position requires regular travel throughout metropolitan, therefore requiring a valid driver’s license.

• Lead the management and enhancement of our WHS&W Management System, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
• Champion a proactive approach to safety and wellbeing by identifying and implementing strategies to improve safe work practices and build a positive culture across our Animal Care and Op Shop sites.
• Provide expert guidance and support to managers, employees and volunteers on hazard identification, incident management and investigation, and return-to-work programs.
• Analyse safety and wellbeing data to identify trends and inform future strategies.
• Manage relationships with our workers compensation insurer and WorkSafe Victoria to drive positive return to work outcomes for injured employees.
