Responsibilities:

  • Serves as consultant and advisor to the executive management of the Medical Center.
  • Monitors and evaluates overall progress of the Performance Improvement (PI) program in accomplishing stated goals, ensuring required resources are utilized in an efficient manner in accomplishing stated goals.
  • Completes and publishes the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center’s (LRMC) PI plan annually, incorporating both long- and short- term program goals, purpose, and objectives.
  • Advises the clinical and non-clinical Department Chiefs on regulatory and performance improvement issues requirements.
  • Oversees performance improvement activities at the direct patient care level and at the patient care support level to assist all facility staff in reducing the risk of adverse outcomes and improving performance.
  • Educates and assists LRMC Division/Department Chiefs and Clinic Commanders to implement PI programs.
  • Ensures PI representatives from each hospital service are selected and trained.
