Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a warm and safe environment for our residents at Haven Bay
  • Work as part of Haven Bay team ensuring a warm and harmonious working environment for all at the Care Centre
  • Assist residents in the activities of daily living
  • Treat residents as individuals and respect their preferences and choices as far as possible
  • Assist residents in personal care while ensuring the highest standards of hygiene are maintained
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for residents, families, visitors, staff and volunteers to the Care Centre
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations and local policies as directed
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all residents and the Care Centre’s private information
  • Attend appropriate mandatory and discretionary training programmes as directed
  • Act in a professional manner as a representative of Haven Bay Care Centre at all times
  • Report any incident or deficit which may arise in the course of your employment
  • Undertake any other duties as required to maintain quality care as directed by the Nursing staff, Director of Care or the Operations Manager
    Annual remuneration: €27,000
    Weekly working hours: 39 hours a week
