We are seeking an experienced and passionate Healthcare Innovation Lead to join our Innovation and Business Excellence team within the AstraZeneca Nordic Marketing Company to be based in Oslo, Norway. Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Healthcare Innovation Lead, you will manage our exciting innovation projects together with cross-functional project teams, covering all AstraZeneca’s therapeutic areas. You will get to set up and coordinate collaborations with many different partners in the healthcare ecosystem, as well as evaluating and co-developing next generation digital health solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects progress towards implementation and scaling as well as meeting set objectives. You will also:

  • Act as a project manager by planning, coordinating the different parts, and monitoring progress to ensure compliance with timing and objectives.
  • Mapping and understanding of the Health IT systems and processes to ensure that the innovative solutions designed are adapted to the reality of each health area.
  • Active mapping of initiatives and insights from the Healthcare System that can contribute to the improvement of care pathways.
  • Working as part of an agile team, as you will be responsible for the requirements analysis and creation through the end-to-end agile delivery lifecycle.
  • Partner in the field for innovation projects to accelerate time to diagnosis and treatment of patients and to ensure the best patient experience.
  • Measurement of the impact of implemented projects through the monitoring and reporting of important metrics. Lead and prioritize which projects are relevant to be continued.
  • Analysing the performance and usage of the solutions. Use these to drive decisions on development and what is next.
  • Act as main point of contact between collaborators (organizational, customer and industry) and the project team regarding development feedback and direction.

ESSENTIAL IN THE ROLE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • More than 5 years of relevant work experience with proven impact.
  • Excellent collaboration capacity with internal and external ecosystems
  • Proven experience with Healthcare Transformation initiatives in the public sector or the industry.
  • Project management skills.
  • Strong experience from Design Thinking.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills with experience of internal and external stakeholder management.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams delivering software projects within a variety of methodologies.
  • Experience of an iterative approach to solution development and delivering with a regular release cadence.

DESIRABLE IN THE ROLE:

  • Experience from healthcare or public sector and understanding of the local healthcare system.
  • Experience in designing or implementing core innovative solutions for the HC system.
  • Excellent level of spoken and written English (level C2).
  • Familiar with innovation methodologies: Agile, Service Design etc.
