Description:
On behalf of our healthcare client, Torus Talent is looking for a Healthcare Project Manager to lead the operations planning and transition to operations of a major distribution and administration project.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Five (5) year’s recent, related experience in project management and facilitating and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups
- Experience working in project controls or within Health Sector is highly preferred
- Project Management Professional designation considered an asset
- Ability to effectively navigate and deliver results in a large and complex environment
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholder groups
- Working knowledge of agile methodology
- Exceptional MS Office skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop/Manage project plans (budget, schedule, risk, etc) with input from Project Team Members and other stakeholders
- Develop Target Operating Model
- Maintain and update program status reports and dashboard
- Participate in resource selection and evaluation
- Manage project scope change processes, and acquire approvals as required
- Track and report on project financials (budgeted, planned and spent)
- Provide forecast on resource usage in consultation with project leads
- Escalate significant issues that cannot be resolved by the Project Team
- Support transition of project deliverables to Operations
- Submit regular status reports to the Senior Management for review and approvals
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
