JOB DESCRIPTION

Hearing Impaired Teaching assistant
I am current recruiting for a 2-form entry school in Northampton, who would like to appoint a Teaching assistant to work with a child who is profoundly deaf.

The ideal candidate:

• experience of working with hearing impaired children
• able to work within a small team
• able to support teaching and learning
• ability to change resources as needed by the learner
• awareness of BSL (British Sign Language)

• PPA time to prepare resources and meeting time for keyworkers
• offer further training
