Here at Doncasters we specialise in turning metals into motion, working with household names such as Rolls Royce and Airbus, we are looking for an experienced Heat Treat Technician to help us continue our Journey. Based in our site in Chard, easily commutable from Ilminster, Yeovil, Exeter.
The working hours for this role are 37 per week. Working between 7:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Thursday, with an early finish of 12pm on Fridays.

Day-to-day: As a heat treatment technician, you will be responsible for monitoring, setting up and operating the furnaces that apply heat treatments to achieve the ideal conditions for our important metals. You will use cutting-edge equipment including hardness test and Spectron machines.
A part of the bigger story: You will work as part of a dedicated team, ensuring that checks comply with all site quality and health and safety procedures. By communicating regularly with the maintenance team, you will spot potential issues and improvements. With your support, this will help our goal of continuously improving our productivity site-wide.
