Location: Saanichton, BC / Langford, BC / Duncan, BC / Nanaimo, BC
Work Schedule: Various rotations available (M-F, T-S, Days/Evenings)

POSITION OVERVIEW

P&R Truck Centre Ltd, doing business as Velocity Truck Centre Canada, is growing and looking to add qualified Heavy Duty / Commercial Transport Technicians to the team! We have openings in our Saanichton, Langford, Duncan and Nanaimo locations.
Working in our shop, the Heavy Duty / Commercial Transport Technicians will contribute in one of Canada’s best managed companies. QUALIFICATIONS

• Heavy Duty Mechanic Journeyman Certificate (Apprentice level 4 technician will be considered)
• BC Class 5 driver’s license (Class 3 with air brakes or Class 1 is considered an asset)
• Mechanically inclined with a strong aptitude for diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
• Customer service focused with effective communication skills.
• Must be a motivated able to work in a fast paced, detailed, and processed driven environment .
• Ability to work in a physical capacity including heavy lifting and using tools throughout the shift.
• Use of computerized scanning equipment, able to use digital technology/mechanical software.
