Job Summary:
You are safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Mechanic with experience working on CAT, Komatsu & Hitachi Equipment on project sites in Saskatchewan and BC.
This will be a full-time, project based position where you will play a key role within our equipment maintenance team. We offer industry-leading wages, benefits, RSP and advancement opportunities.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Safe & cost-effective maintenance of heavy mobile equipment
  • Provide support to PM Mechanics and Maintenance technicians
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on various CAT, Komatsu & Hitachi Equipment
  • Conducts pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily field level hazard assessments for all activities
  • Complete maintenance reporting and other documentation as required
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
  • Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Must have 3+ years previous experience in on CAT, Komatsu & Hitachi Equipment
  • Journeyperson certification from a recognized training authority
  • Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
  • Must possess valid CSTS-2020 and WHIMS

Work Conditions:

  • 14 days on / 7 days off rotational shift 12 hour days
  • Private camp based accommodation provided for non-local candidates
  • Travel allowance provided from approved locations
  • Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
