Our Heavy Vehicle Mechanics have the opportunity to work on Volvo Trucks, Volvo Buses, Mack and UD Trucks, some of Australia’s most innovative transport brands. We are seeking a highly skilled, qualified Mechanic to join Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV) Gold Coast, based in Carrara.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

At VCV Gold Coast, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, your role will include:

• Steering and suspension repairs
• Electrical faults, diagnosis and repairs
• Braking systems diagnosis and repairs
• Component overhauls
• Driveline repairs
• Preventative maintenance services and repairs
• Offisite and breakdown repairs

Do you dream big? We do too, and we are excited to grow together. In this role, you will bring:

• A Heavy Vehicle mechanical qualification (unfortunately we cannot accept Fitter qualifications)
• Experience working with Volvo, Mack, UD or other European truck or bus brands
• Some exposure to light auto-electrical work
• A pro-active attitude with a drive to work efficiently
• A positive safety attitude with a team-focused mindse
