Description:

Robert Half is seeking a Help Desk Analyst to accommodate field users in an ever-changing, active environment. Candidates with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for making effective change within an organization will be the best fit for this Help Desk Analyst position. Located in Houston, Texas, the Help Desk Analyst opportunity is a permanent role.

Responsibilities

  • Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues
  • Respond and follow up on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups
  • Provide IT support for operating systems, productivity software, and a variety of other applications used internally
  • Identify recurring technical issues and propose solutions to address the root of the problems
  • Prior experience with IT support ticketing systems
  • Working knowledge of user administration and bug fixing in a client server environment
  • Background in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Desktop Support experience
  • Knowledge of End-User Support
  • Application support experience
  • Basic networking concepts
