Seeking an experienced IT Help Desk Support Officer to join a small team in a large Government Department

YOUR NEW ROLE

As a Help Desk Support Officer you will be working within a specialist software team within the Department, charged with sustaining and developing the systems on the system framework. The specialist system is an n-tier, web-based application, built on the Microsoft technology stack, using agile software development methods to deliver three major enhancement releases each year.

In this role you will be required to, but will not be limited to, complete tasks including the below:

• Strong documentation, communication and time management skills.
• Working flexibly across a range of tasks within a small team, and the ability to work in a collaborative, team environment and independently when needed.
• Supporting team objectives like face-to-face training, eLearning Design & development, presentations and demonstrations.
• Engaging and working with internal and external stakeholders
